    Audience: Managers, centre leaders and supervisors in Early Childhood Education and Care are invited to join a one-hour webinar on 1 May, from 10:00-11:00am.

    The OIR has developed its second Team Chat Pack- a sector specific ‘train the trainer’ resource and video, created for the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. This is the second in a three-part series designed to spark meaningful conversations, encourage critical reflection, inspire new ideas and motivate everyone to play a role in making services safer for children and young people.

    Topic: Child Safe Recruitment

    • Educational video – designed to be paused as you and your team progress through the activities.
    • Real time guidance on how to facilitate this session with your organisation

    Participants will gain skills and knowledge for child safe recruitment in Tasmania and receive the resources to deliver this training with their services.

    Webinar –Reportable Conduct Scheme Introduction Thursday 25 June 2026

    This is a one-hour practical webinar to introduce workers and leaders to the Reportable Conduct Scheme.

    This session will: 

    • Build confidence in identifying and notifying reportable conduct.
    • Strengthen knowledge of how the Reportable Conduct Scheme works.
    • Provide a refresher on the foundations of the Scheme and the requirements for organisations.
    • Provide practical guidance on how to strengthen compliance with the Scheme.

    • A detailed explanation of Child and Youth Safe Standard 5: People working with children and young people are suitable and supported to reflect child safety and wellbeing values in practice.
    • A fictional case study designed to prompt thoughtful group discussion
    • Valuable insights drawn from current research
